As I said, it's the same as every other rank. I was voted on for the market. He would have been voted on for the RS section, probably because the admins/globals feel they need more moderators in that section.

 

Market mod is different, you actually need skills and knowledge to be the mod. Runescape mod, needs nothing. Other than to have played the game, and friends on the inside. You don't need anything else. If it wasn't about friends or who you knew, I would try to be a mod. But since it is, I stopped trying.

On the contrary, all you need to know is the rules. Again, the role is to look after the forum and make sure it doesn't turn into a pig sty. All "knowledge" of anything else will help is to determine whether someones a scammer or not, and you aren't given the permissions for that forum unless you CAN determine whether someone is a scammer.

Shouldn't all admins be doing this? It keeps fairness so you don't make a mistake in reviewing or let something slide.

 

If they choose to, they can. If not, they don't have to. Steph has historically done this on her own and encountered no problems.
