It's a statement to prove they want to win the east.

And Boston wins with Paul Pierce in your sig, there's a biased view.

Boston isn't the team they were last year and I'm willing to bet money they don't make it to the Eastern Conference Finals. The cavs will can't be carried by LeBron? It has sure worked for them the whole season, but I wouldn't say carried. Let's see Mo Williams averaging around 20 a game along with delonte wests 18, let's not forget Big Ben coming back from the injury, as well as JJ Hickson. And their bench is really starting to mature like Darnell Jackson, and don't forget their recent re-pick up of Joe Smith which is just proving to be another genius move by Danny Ferry.

Oh and if that's not proof enough I hope you watched the Cavs Celtics game on sunday, you'll be seeing LeBron dance on the sidelines in the fourth quarter a lot more come playoff time. Seeing as he hasn't had to play the fourth quarter the last 2 times the Celtics came in the Q, one including Garnett.

Now, in reality, the top 2 seeds in the East and West are clearly the best teams in the NBA. I have no idea why you said the Lakers would choke in the Finals, that is definitely not going to happen. Seeing as the Celtics won't be there I'm not going to blame you if you don't watch it, but I would predict that the Lakers take it in 7 over my cavs. Because I'm not biased that's how I see it happening, with Bynum back, Gasol playing outstanding and Kobe being the second best player in the league they would make Boston look like a joke. Boston, finals, hahahah.

Hm did you watch KG play in that game? Did leon powe?
Did Boston have a reason to win? Cleveland obviously did.

    Btw: Delonte's PPG:
    11.8
He's not even back at full strength after that wrist injury.

And it's not biased, I really believe they have the talent and the actions to take it to the finals. Defending World champs?

The celtic's age will be their flaw in the playoffs. Dwight Howard isn't in his prime yet but will be soon and unleash it on the celtics.

Since when is being a veteran going to take a toll on the players?
    Pierce: 31 (turning 32)

    Garnett: 32 (turning 33)

    Allen: 33 (turning 34)

A few more years left in the tank.

Garnett for example, has knee problems. Same thing is happening to Kobe but he has younger and some experienced team mates to handle the floor. Shannon Brown, for example, can almost dunk a 13 foot rim.

Cleveland is going to take it all the way for sureee. I'm from Cleveland, I know we're going to destroy, monday I believe it was we DESTROYED the Celtics, by like 30+ points. Right now I'm watching Cleveland vs. the 76ers, and they're winning without playing mo williams, lebron, and Z@@@! We played no starters getting ready for the play offs, Cleveland's got it all the wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

    Edit: I'm really stoned

    Ok let's see.

Lebron will be a regular season MVP for sure. Mo williams? He's a great pick-up last summer by the cavs of course, averaging .436 at three point land but with 17.8ppg, not 20. Delote west, missed quite some games because of wrist injury, isn't going to make a huge impact come playoffs. Big Ben? He was good in hs prime, but he's getting old and does not have the energy that won the pistons the NBA title. Coming back from an injury? Couldn't be much worse than it could have been. Also they are not really that deep on the bench.

The Celtics-Cavs game. Is this the playoffs? Is a win a must for the celtics? No. They are getting ready for the playoffs and I see no reason for them to risk injuries for more wins when they got the no.2 seed locked. Garnett I believe is resting and getting all ready for the playoffs, and will do great in the playoffs like he always does. They are getting Leon Powe back frmo injury and that is a real boost for the bench energy especially when you see his dunks and last year's finals gm 2 against the lakers. Beast. Signing Starbury might not be the greatest move but that would add more depth to the bench.
Losing James Posey would be costly without his 3 pts but still, Eddie House is still doing great at 3 pt land with his quick release.

Lakers are definitely not going to choke in playoffs. Finals last year, real deep bench with the likes of Farmar, Sasha, Luke Walton, Shannon Brown, Odom. Experience + depth is definitely going to be a great factor in the playoffs. Also with bynum back, his length and strength is going to be hard with Pau alongside. his jump hooks are getting better, and fresh from injury, he's gonna be hungry after missing last season's playoffs.

oh and did you say Kobe the second best player in the league? He's the best player in the league right now and I believe many others agree too. Lebron is great but he's not all that clutch, his shooting is not consistent and his free throw is not good at all for a small forward nearly
    averaging 30pts a game.

Lakers hanging the banner come June.

He actually said 'may' miss the playoffs. He won't play in the first round that's for sure, but maybe after we'll see an appearance from KG.

Could just be temporary. Listen to the video, it says "he was doing fine last week and now he's having difficulties".

Could just be something he'll shake off. And comon, we don't need him to take on the 76ers or the Magic :p

I was estimating stats because, unlike you, know them, don't have to look them up, I got in the general area. And since Deltonte missed some games due to an injury, he won't do good in the playoffs, what sense does that make? If you wanted to make that assumption wouldn't that also work for Garnett and Powe, oh wait Garnett's not even playing the entire playoffs now.

Kobe IS the second best player in the League. Look at LeBron and Kobe's stats and compare, easy as that? But if you want to get deeper, LeBron has more game winning shots this year, and averages more in the 4th quarter, and almost every proffesional analyzer on ESPN started this year saying Kobe's the best, but have almost ALL changed. It's quite obvious, people need to hop off the Kobe band wagon, LeBron's taking over the league. But hey let's go farther, people who really know basketball, like oh I don't know Oscar Robertson, said he's easily the best player. I mean the man almost averages a triple double, it's barely even a contest with Kobe anymore.

Shooting inconsistent? What are you even saying, he was in a slump, but is definitely a pure shot. But if you won't take my word for it his FG percentage is higher than Kobe's this season. So weird huh? Who's the inconsistent shooter?

Please check here for all LeBron's league leading stats, there are a lot of them - http://lebronisreallyreallyreallyreallyreallyreallygood.com/

Why don't you watch/hear the telecast or read the article before making assumptions? The article says it's possible that he might not come back. Doc Rivers only said that theres not way he'll be ready for the first round. He said that Garnett was doing good in workouts and practice the week before. I'd believe this is only a temporary inconvenience.

Would have easily went 40 - 1 with our starters.

But we're resting to destroy the Eastern Conference.

If ESPN says the NBA suddenly decides to move to Antarctica and seal off communication with the rest of the world, would you believe that?

The word is stronger coming straight from the source. And KG is a warrior, he's too passionate for the game to sit out these games. They could be the last few games he plays in his legendary run.
