    God Vs. Big Bang Theory

It could, nobody will ever know for sure. What I don't get is how the Big Bang Theory came to be. How could the universe come out of a small particle?

Where did the particle come from?

You clearly don't know what the big bang theory is.

You also haven't read up on your bible much.

The big bang describes the moments post-creation, it does not attempt to explain the zero-hour events.

    God Vs. Big Bang Theory

How could the universe come from a conceptual being with nothing to support its own existence?

Big Bang, as stated above is post-creation, but if you wish to know some basic physics of it, wikipedia can be a legend.

Dense objects have large amounts of gravity. The earth, for example, is a dense object. It has gravity which "holds us to the ground." The Sun (Sol) also has gravity, and that is what keeps its satellites (the planets) in orbit. Imagine if every element in this universe was pulled towards an extremely large and dense object, the object would continue to gather more matter, becoming denser, and gaining more and more gravity. What if that object gained so much gravity that it collapsed on itself?

That is one common idea about the big bang theory, there are many more.

Anyway, there is already a topic about God's existence, this is just separating that same argument in to two individual arguments. I'll wait for Dropkick to do what he wants with this topic.

The universe is one of an infinite multitude of universes existing in various dimensions. Some of these dimensions (actually all really) exist outside of time. They are eternal. They didn't "come" from anywhere. They were always here and always will be here. Alpha and omega, beginning and end...

an explosion creates CHAOS not ORGANIZATION...how can an explosion create planets and stars and all life?? it just goes against common sense but i think that scientists with their degrees and attitude have forgotten about a little something called wisdom...

Who created god? If he was always here who's to say what the universe was made up couldn't have been to.

There had to be a beginning somewhere. I could easily ask, where did the Big Bang atom come from? It's either the Big Bang always existed or God always existed, I voted God.

Entropy, when considering the whole universe as a closed system, IS increasing.

However, if you don't believe in gravity, I don't know what to tell you.

The Big Bang theory does not pretend to explain pre-bang events. If you choose to make up a magical unicorn in substitute of an honest "who knows?" than so be it.

Why don't people just look up the shit instead of making a topic and making people bring it to you? God, you kids are lazy.

You ask a religious question on a mostly biased site. Most people will vote big bang and say God doesn't exist.

In the "Does God Exist" thread here there are more people who believe in God than those who don't.

This really is not any more useful than "Does God exist?". Please argue this topic there.
