Any anime / manga fans ?

Just make sure you watch Ghost in the Shell. I've seen almost all of the anime listed in this thread, and I will say that it is by far the best I've seen.

I also liked Black Cat, despite its constant oddities. I have the box set

All watch Inuyasha if you haven't seen it's a tale with demons ... a bit of romance ... and it's funny as hell ...

Sorry for the double post ... yeah i saw ghost in the shell but only the first movie ... will look at the second ... if i like it i'll watch the series

 

The series is a lot more entertaining to the average western person, but I like the first two movies. I recommend watching a few of the series episodes even if you didn't like the second movie.

I used to watch Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT. But i'm grown up now so no, i don't watch it anymore.

 

Awww that's to bad ... you should watch them even if you're all grown up ... when you have spare time watch an ep or two ... i won't tell anyone if you do :noworry: =)

Big O, code Geass, samurai champloo (the best work in the world, imo), cowboy bebop. Death note is pure win as well.

those are some classic anime i named there, most other opular titles are for kids (epsecially bleach and naruto, i despise them for their filler)

also, have you read the original Yugioh manga? the first 7 volumes at least?

 

Only one i like is Naruto and DBZ

 

Death Note is the best series. I watched all the episodes, skipped the manga because it's mainly a written summary of the tv series.

I'd suggest watching Yu Yu Hakusho and Gundam Wing. Still til this day my favorite series.

 

Most mangas are drawn before the TV series was even thought of, therefore the story is untouched and usually better because it doesn't need to be fit in to 20-25 minute episodes.
