Def. the king of Old Skool rap. check him out: I find him a lyrical mastermind, he has crazy good flow too Hes got great bass in his songs (Flea did a few songs for him)
Old school rap was nothing to scoff at. I enjoy a lot of this era's rap simply because it was catchy and well done. Not like this modern stuff where they pump out 2 albums a year with lackluster talent. Thanks for posting these :- D

Late 80s to mid 90s was the definition of good rap. Old School is way better than anything TI or Lil' Wayne could make. Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five, The Sugarhill Gang, Rob Bass, Funky Four + 1 More, etc. made some of the best music.
