Removed and locked, OP doesn't realize that Express editions are free anyway.

Escuse me if I'm a bit confused, but Visual Studio Express is free regardless, all you have to do is register your product with Microsoft.com for free and it is licensed anyway.

I don't know what bullshit you're talking about.

The trail verison expires after 30 days. Then you need to either redownload a trial or pay for the full version.

The express edition is completely free... if you're screwing with the registry who knows what exactly you're accomplishing but it sure isn't beating the system in this case.

Express is COMPLETELY free. All you need to do is register with MS, which takes like a minute.

What the shit are you talking about?

LOL! all express editions is free as they said... the registration is just because they want to know who downloads their software..
and if you wish to get visual studio 2008 pro edition free then all you have to do is set back the system clock... Microsoft failed so hard at the protecting part of their $800 product rofl
or simply buy it if you aren't too cheap..
