Alright, After reading everything, and finding out quite the chunk of information about the business, and how it influences Sythe I have decided to make a Gold4RS thread to stop all gold4RS complaints, since Sythe didn't or couldn't yet.

Lets start with the whole thing that they are scammers/hackers/etc. While there has been quite a bit of accusations on them about hacked accounts, most of these are just because of a simple thing such as the buyer not checking their email for their new password, on the other hand there is the whole "they raised the wrong levels" scenario; This isn't a scam, it's just bad business, and in this case, you shouldn't say "remove the section" you should just not use the service, and not recommend it, not hard.

Now lets look at the financial aspect of this whole situation, I run a pretty big website, so I know quite a bit about profit from the websites and stuff. Well, Sythe doesn't really get that much in donations a month. If you don't believe me, check the people who have donation ranks, add it up. Some of this money goes to Matthew probably, so the profits are pretty minimal after the host is payed for. The Gold4RS partnership is whats motivating Sythe to keep running his site, as we all would want a bit of profit from something we put work into, even though its not all his work. Gold4RS is whats keeping this site somewhat afloat and keeping sythe interested in the site, you should really appreciate that, as most of you use this site for your RS black market needs. While I really disagree with Sythe on a few things he does to make money, I still think that he needs to profit from the work he does.

I know I'll probably be flamed for this, but the above is true, the economy is in a recession, and not many people can afford to donate, so this Gold4RS partnership is a must for Sythe to stay afloat and here for all your needs.

Here's a summed up version of what I said; Sythe does not make too much money from donations, Gold4RS just have a lot of misunderstandings, and don't really scam, Gold4RS is whats keeping this site afloat in a tough economic time, so respect that and be civil with them so that they stay here and allow Sythe to stay up.

I am not too sure.

I myself, have taken close to 200$ of donations since i have opened my thread, of course this is a lot faster since its the first cheap service to be used. Unless the host costs several grand a month, which i doubt, then i don't see how he is not making a profit off of it.

^ finn, can't action be taken if users post logs of such "racist" or other forms of harrasment on this site? I think if anyone uses the site they should do their own research and not based what they think upon on group of people.

 

Not exactly, lots of people have been ranting/complaining about Gold4Rs because they didn't agree to what they said. In one instant, someone got banned, they didn't give them the same account back.

 

That's because paypal donation methods weren't an option before. Since your service opened, people who weren't able to donate suddenly are able to. Thank you for doing that btw.

You should have posted this thread in the gold4rs section. This forum isn't for runescape conversations.

 

I honestly don't care, but I hope that Gold4RS makes some income- as it's tough times and I hate to see people struggle.

This isn't a runescape conversation, at all, this is more of a conversation about Sythe. I cannot post in community general, so i posted here.

 

You should of posted it in the Gold4rs forum. Most people here in off topic are hear to here about off topic stuff, not runescape.

And thats why i said because i opened it. It will probably go down within a month, but the option will still be available.

On another note:

Sythe has said before that if they keep up the bad service [People being banned, etc] that he will remove them. This, however, has not happened.

I've read multiple cases of Gold4rs training account's defense [when they're pures], their accounts getting banned with no reimbursement [Even though they give you that "one banned one same will be given!" bullshit], and very bad customer service.

I'm not sure how much Richard is making off partnering with him, but it must be a substantial amount for them to still be here.

Everyone likes money. The only reason this site was first made was to make money. Gold4RS offers a new way to make money.

This might make more sense to people who read Yakov's old thread about this. I still have pictures of it etc.

 

Alright so since you targeted me in my other post, I'll target you here.

First off you're being ignorant, its obvious you didn't read my thread at all and went on to rape it for someone else responding because obviously it was too much reading for you, but in my thread I have already stated that them getting defense is just bad business ethics. If you would have read that you would have back up your argument a little better. Now lets move on to the second part about the bans. Sythe has talked to Gold4RS, and if you weren't blind, you'd see it doesn't say that anymore.

Next, You get again failed to read my thread about how much income Sythe is making off Gold4RS, you'd know that he isn't making much off of donations right now, because the donation user groups are pretty small as of now, and that means few donations. Before Gold4RS he probably made pocket change off this site, but Gold4RS right now seems to be the money source for this site. Pay pal donations, being led by TJ, might help Sythe climb out of the low profits hole he is in right now, but for now Gold4RS is why he still has interest in this site. Respect that, and really, if you don't like the business or have an issue, just don't use them.. They are human, they do make mistakes and do have misunderstandings so either read the first post and actually understand what i was saying, or read this all the way through, and pull your head out of your ass
