No. We want all languages to have a fair shot...

They do, it just matters how you make it. And the rules, or you could do each language against itself

What makes programming sites such as, GD for example so appealing is due to the knowledge base, most of the people there know plenty about what they are doing and I think that is what we lack (as far as I see), expand our knowledge to the community by creating more tutorials, adding a code-snippet section for each programming language sub-forum, strictly for submitting code-snippets.

Steer the programmer community towards an area or idea which we can all program around and share ideas about, rather than everything we write is completely un-related to what others are working on or learning on so there is less discussion.

For example, GD is steered towards game-hacking. Anyone who goes there is interested in that so there is bound to be questions and discussion.

Haha, there isn't that much of a difference unless you know how to write inline ASM.

It depends and varies greatly on the knowledge you have, it is possible to optimize a .NET application to run and use the same amount of resources as a native application that does the same task if you know enough about the language you are writing it in...

Try writing a java application that runs faster than a C++ application. Depending on what it is it might, but most likely it will not....

But, I would rather not clutter the forum with subsections.... We need more tutorials, and if someone writes a few VERY GOOD ones, then I will try to arrange a reward of some sort for you....

We have already decided we need to make more people want to program, and need to make it easier for them to learn. Now we just need to do it. D:
