Can someone tell me how to keep my internet connected while hibernating

It would help so so so much
because then i can leave rsbot on all the time
which would be very nice hahaaa.

You can not... Just turn your monitor off.

When you put it in sleep/Hibernating mode, it shuts off internet (Unless youhave WOL, wake on Lan)

Your processor turns off, everything but the RAM (For sleep mode)

Hibernation is almost the same, but it turns off everything and SAVES your ram onto your HDD until you turn it back on.

why not just leave your computer on? Hibernating eats ram until you restart.

In some cases my computer didn't delete the Hibernating file and it took up like 4g of disk space that I didn't even know about.

Just turn off hibernation mode and turn off your monitor; it's what I do.

 

Can't you can turn your moniter off and it'll stay on. That's what I always did.

 

It doesn't take 10 men to tell 1 guy the same advice for him to understand.

 

I'm pretty sure that you can, go to device manager, click on your internet drive, go to power management, then click off "allow computer to turn off this device to save power."

- This only works if its a wired connection.

Even for wireless, its impossible.

 

keeping activity alive in hibernation mode defeats the purpose.

 

This was my fix:
I ran an auto clicker all night long, with an infinite amount of repeats, it went back and forth across my desktop right clicking, while RSbot did its thing.
