I don't believe in the bible or any of that BS.
I believe in God and I think he support gay marriage just because a book says God says this and all that crap. Doesn't mean it's true. I can write a book on about God. And it will be the same thing as the bible. It will tell different things....

Should homosexuals have the right to get married?

Definitely, homosexuals should have the right to get married. I hate the close-minded people who just follow every word of the bible. It's their life so if they decide to get married it's their choice and life.

Everyone should have the right to do anything with their life. Nor anyone should decide to cancel homosexual marriages.

I Dont really believe in all the politics and biblical stuff going on here nor do i care. theyre still people and should have rights like everyone else. Not that ill ever be gay or that ive even thought about being gay but its just that my mum brought me up to treat everyone with the same respect. Also gay people usually have a good sense of fashion.???? maybe i dont know.

Marriage is by the church. You can't get married without the approval of the church Kay? Read the whole thread and not the first. What you've said, has been said atleast 4 times.

Yes, I know that I am stating my opinion, and I don't care if it has been posted 10 times and whatnot It's my opinion with a different answer. I know you need church approval, but what I am saying is it's your life do anything.

If the church doesn't let you get married in it, then don't bitch to the government saying it's not fair. It's theirs. So basically, your opinion was not needed. It's been posted before, anything else is just spam.

Again, I completely understand what you are saying, but presently the state gives married couples certain benefits. The problem is when they don't extend these same benefits to homosexual couples.
The govt. either needs to provide civil unions for everybody, force churches to marry any couple, or get out of the whole marriage business.

Should homosexuals have the right to get married?

Yes - Homosexual people have all the rights in the world to get married.
Why? Homosexuality is pure chance, other then the rare case of being raped by the opposite sex while a young child, which I'm not even sure of. I haven't really looked into it.

Okay, so right now, I may be wrong, but I'm not sure...
Isn't the law regarding gay marriage decided by the state, not the whole government? This only applies to USA, btw. I guess the "Government" would be involved if they passed a nation-wide ban on gay marriage, or vice versa. For as long as it's the states decision, not all states will lift the ban on gay marriage. I mean, look at Texas. Mr. Bush made "Jesus Day", which imo is just...stupid. But yeah, I'm pretty sure it's up to the state. I guess in some states where Gay Marriage is aloud, homosexuals still won't be able to get married in churches, but that's fine. They'd have a nicer wedding somewhere else...

Oh, yes...I hope me being gay doesn't make it biased or anything...

It seems like people are treating homosexuals as if they are another species. They are humans like us, no different except for their personal choice of relationship with the same sex.

If the churches agree, then that is that. Not the outsiders thinking they can think for them. It is the churches decision only. Anything else, use a Civil Union. I don't know why gays want to be married in something you don't FUCKING BELIEVE.
    Just about.

Should homosexuals have the right to get married?

You quoted my whole post and basically only responded to something I didn't even include...When did I say that churches should agree to allow Gay Marriage? When did I say that I believed in anything? I thought maybe even my signature would point that out... I'm fully aware to that if I plan to get married, that I'd use a Civil Union. If anything, I'd like you to clear some things for me, and respond to what I was saying, not what everybody else apparently was. You don't have to, but I'm just saying your response was..unclear.

EDIT: I'd like to add something. There are many homosexuals who are Christian, Jewish, Muslim, etc. etc... I'll tell you one thing. You cannot tell me you're religious or you believe in one religion unless you follow every single rule. Why would you disobey your master if you have such a strong belief? I don't think really that anyone here is truly religious. You break many sins in just one day, I bet. Now, I'm not saying that everybody does this, but still. Oh, and this really isn't directed just to Riddler, but to everyone who chooses to state that they are, "very religious" in each post.

Should homosexuals have the right to get married?

WOW.. Ok dude. Seriously, being gay is not wrong. But its also not right. If you want to be gay, go ahead, you can't judge them if they are or not. But marriage is between a man and a women, so no. they shouldnt have the right to be married. And being gay isnt the worse sin imaginable. I think the worse sin imaginable is betraying god. And yea, they do make a choice if they want to be gay or not, you also make the choice of being religious or not. There is always a choice, and just because they made one that they feel is right, doesn't give you the right to judge them how you just did.

Should homosexuals have the right to get married?

Then who were they wedded by? A judge? Anyone else doesn't have the right.
Did I fucking say christian? No, I said church. If you want me to elaborate everything I fucking say, then yes. Mosque, churches, temples, and synagogue.
Marriage. Is religion based. Anything else. Isn't marriage.
    Ok.
Marriage is in the places of worship. It is only their decision to do it. If not, you aren't technically wed.

Should homosexuals have the right to get married?

    Legally? Yes.

    In the Church? No.

It's really simple. If a gay couple wants to be legally considered "married" then that's perfectly fine. Any two humans who love each other should be able to get married. But, in the Church, gays should definitely not be allowed, for obvious reasons... (the Bible...)

    1. I recall stating that I did not direct that towards you, but I see that I did somewhat direct it to you at the same time. I apologize, if that's what you wanted me hear me say.

    2. It's not like I'm forcing anything onto anybody. Anyways, I think it looks nice. The only reason I even plan on taking it off is because that it shows a religious icon and a circle with a slash across it, which in my thoughts is saying that "you're against religion", and I'm not like that.

I guess I misinterpreted it, it's my fault.
Please consider, it can be offending to some.

EDIT: And to Finn, didn't feel like quoting everything and responding. My response: Ok.
