Users can change own username?

I'm really just trying to find out if you can request a name change on Sythe?
if you can't, maybe?

 

You cannot change usernames on sythe. Period.

 

Not even request one? To a Admin?

 

No one, even administrators are allowed. This rule is to save the staff a lot of hassle while enforcing this rule on everyone creates fairness.

 

Admins have the option off changing it but...Like i think the only way matthew would even consider it is if you donate 300+ dollars.

Name changes are not allowed. There are too many problems that come along with a name change. If you want a new name, quit your current account and make a new one.

 

Everyone would then change names, and cause much trouble. Plus if everyone can do this, scammers would get away with this.

 

no because certain people will scam then change their username so its very hard to find them.

I've seen people get to change their names if they become staff. It'd be hard to achieve this, though. Am I right, btw?

 

you cant change your name for security reasons i think...

someone can scamm and then just change his name to "dissapear" without loosing his PC

 

The only name changes I've seen is capitlization of the first letter of your name

That would be stupid, as people would just use this to scam, then change there name, simple.

Off the top of my head

 

Name changes equal: Confusion, impersonation, evading mods, etc. It's just a huge hassle which is not worth the trouble. Besides, you should pick a name you want when you register, then you don't have to worry about name changes.
