Hello I Started This Thread To See Who Thinks Jessus Is Real
I Do Belive I God And Jessus And Noah And All Of Them.
So Fill In My Poll And Also Tell Me On Thread.

 

Jesus could have probably been real, but his "magic divine holy powers" were IMO a fraud or just made up.

 

Do you believe on the Easter bunny who hides the easter 'eggs'?
Do you believe in Santa?

What does Easter bunny have shit to do with it?

There is proof of a man named Jesus with stories about him.

 

Santa Claus was real. He was a man that gave to needy children.

Anyways, this question is above my pay grade. It's personal opinion.

 

There is some proof that there was a man named Jesus. As for him being God's son.. that's a different story. His life (if he was an actual person) has been edited so many times that any truth about him is lost forever.

 

An invester was reading the bible one day, when he came across the time when that guy in the bible was put into the nile right? and pushed down a river? well in his basket, the woman who pushed him down the nile used tar to keep it from sinking, making the basket waterproof..

so the invester thought, if the woman used tar, then to make tar, you need oil, and if there was oil, he could be rich. the invester sent some scientists to jerusalem or wherever it was, and they did some tests and what not, and the area where they had said in the bible did in fact contain oil.

so the invester set up an oil mining company there, and is now one of the best oil companies in the world.

thats what some guy/pastor told us in our assembly, when we were sitting in the hall at school.. i remembered it kind of, facts are dodgey.. dont really pay that much attention, but thats what i heard from it.

don't know what to believe, but that makes me wonder

Seriously, how can you believe in him if you can't spell his name? It's only in the bible a few thousand times.

But, I think religion is all wishful thinking - the easiest answer to the self-important question, "why are we here" that people feel the need to ask themselves. Personally, I think 42 is a better answer.

A man named jesus started the religion Christianity. What the fuck are you talking about? They named their children after him. Most spanish names are names of religious names.

Yes, he started it but not all the names are religious.

 

Of course hes real, the catholic church has an un-broken chain of popes from jesus to present date. Many religions see him as a real, many scientists as a real person too.

He was a real person but not the son of God, not a mercenary, not magical and not a prophet. None of the great scholars from back down wrote anything about Jesus and seeing as how he turned water into whine, I'd be interested (as a scholar).

 

Agreed. It's also pretty stupid since they know Jesus's whole life from the beginning, and yet they don't know what happen from the ages of 5 through 25+.

They just know The Birth, and Death, what happens then, what about the prostitute that he fell in love with nothing more explained.

 

I believe jesus was a remarkable man, maybe a profit or w/e but he was not the son of god. in those times many people would make themselves look better by relating themselves to gods.

 

I do not dispute the fact that Jesus was a real person. What I do NOT agree with is that he was the son of god, that he performed miracles, predicted the future, etc.
