Ok, so ive never used any GFX program b4

And after looking at signature after signature and avatars, etc. ive decided to want to get into it. now i know most of the high-tech programs are pretty pricey, i was wondering if any of you are using a program that you got for free, or have a multi-license program you'd be willing to let me get? thanks,

I use Paint.net im kinda new to it also.
its a free program and I made this with it.

Its not PRO but I like it for my 4th pic i made i think.
(its just an example)

downloaded, ran setup, setup said it finished and i restarted-then opened file and it said run Repair, so i did that, and restarted- opened again and it wants me to run repair...again... so i dont think that one is gonna work very well. any other options anyone?

 

If you want a legal version, you can get photoshop elements fairly cheap. It's not quite the same as CS2 (or CS4, for that matter), but it has many of the same features. As far as sig-making, the only thing I really miss is color balance.

Then again, so few people use a legal photoshop.

I got my PS7-CS4 for free...I always get the newest ones.. It's fairly easy. Photoshop may seem complicated at first but it gets pretty easy to use after a few days of messing around with it. Tutorials are great for learning how to do something.

 

Gimp free and a good start. BUT when you get in CS4 Extended be pretty to scratch your head.
