Some people, who may see others as inferior, would rather have a situation where there is something separating them from others... thus culture can be an excuse.

Well, less culture should result in less cultural stereotypes, like "All indians are alcoholic gamblers" and stuff like that. I'd imagine if we could just all unite in ONE common way; language, the world would become a better place. More agreeable.

Many people I have spoken to say they strive for peace in the world, as well as unity. Yet they also say "People lose their culture when they lose their language." Well, in order to have unity, we'd either have to know every single language, or have a single language.

So pick one. Single language and world unity or culture?

ounce you blend languages, you start haveing culteral(gezz epic fail spelling tonight) Difusion, more would start to be a western type liveing, no more beliefs of old ways,it would be good if more countrys spoke english, like 1st world countrys, but other then that, In business, and in Most Military actions, or airplanes, English is the internation language.

No, language is part of their culture, people would never give up like that.

No, virtually you are saying would it be better if we were all under one nation. I see many problems to this. Espionage would be a whole lot more difficult if everyone understood and only used one language for example.

I'm against it. Sentiment is important, and surely natural selection will have its way and "purify" whatever race is generally worst.

I wouldn't use culture as a reason to deter the usage of a universal language. I would have to say that the language closest to being universal is English. Personally, it would be much more advantageous to have a language which everyone used.
