Best Version of Photoshop to Use?

Best can depend on many factors.

    To list a few:
-how good your computer is (specs)
-how much you are willing to spend on the software (the best is more) but there is freeware out there, (also illegal cracks, which are ILLEGAL)
-preference (i have used cs3 for that long that moving to cs4 is just pointless for me, i don't need to upgrade so I'm not going to)

The best impo is Photoshop CS3.
I also have photoshop 7 on my school pc and imo its shit lol :p

    each to their own.

The most common is cs2, but i use cs4, because i started GFX quite recently, so i didn't find it hard to learn the new interface and all.

Cs2 is very user friendly and easier to use if you're starting gfx.
