Jagex attacking sythe?

LOL. Sythe will not be taken down. It is doing nothing illegal, and only its users break Jagex's rules... Not Sythe its self.

 

but some might say sythe is encouraging rule breaking with things like the black market..

 

We are doing nothing against the law though.

 

yeah there is nothing against the law with RWTing ect. it is just against jagex's terms of service, the most they can do is ban you. I'm glad that sythe doesnt allow phishing/cracking, as theese in some cases ARE illegal

 

Yea, they would hvae to get our ip's, check them with rs then ban the accts which wont happen, and they cant touch Sythe.

 

Sythe is safe. Do not worry, unlike Fagex and sites like that which will most likely be targetted.

well it might be illegal since we're selling their intellectual property ie gold
and they could make up some bogus excuse.....like having there pictures here.

We do nothing against the law. Jagex will try to make a case saying that we do, but we don't, and that's that.

 

Jagex will never take down Sythe.

Cant take down sythe, its a public forum and free speech does aply to the internet.

Yeah I agree with above. They can't take Sythe down and there will ALWAYS be real world trading... just the way it is.

 

We are making money off of their property by selling gold, etc.

Shouldn't be to hard to get the BM taken off or Sythe shut down.

 

I don't think you understand that free speech is merely an ideal, and cannot be given with everything.

For example, if I told you I was going to murder your whole family and you called the cops on me, saying "I have free speech" would not pass as an excuse.

But we aren't selling their property, all RuneScape gold + accounts remain the property of Jagex LTD (which is why scammers cannot be legally punished(although some are anyways), as the products were the property of Jagex the whole time, and so you cannot be scammed for something that didn't belong to you).

That's very true. Sites that promote illegal things like Fagex with all of the cracking+warez could easily be taken down (although, one could say that fagex itself doesn't phish (sp?) or crack, and so maybe even they will evade detection).

Yes, but even selling things for RuneScape cannot be punished legally.
