    Battle of Dieppe- WWII
    well the Battle of Dieppe has been a controversial issue since it ended but wat do you think of it and why?

    plz dont comment if you dont know about it as i would like serious comments

    Battle of Dieppe- WWII
    One word. Disastrous.
    Failed in their mission.

    Canadian forces made up most of the allied assault on Dieppe as you said in order to attempt to occupy a major port in France. Over 50% died as a result. Allied forces also lost 110 planes in an attempt to lure the Luftwaffe.
