Contact Lenses

Ok so I want to get these contacts:

They're purple, my favorite color, they would look awesome.

I've never wore contacts before though. What solution do I need and how do I apply it? How long will they last? I'm a little nervous of putting them in. I'm not one of those people who are terrified of using contact, but what is the best way to put them in?

 

I wanted to get purple contacts!

I'm dying parts of my hair purple next week probably and i was going to get purple contacts. I'm going to go to a proper eye place though, i know some chick who did that, they just tested her eyes and stuff then a couple days later she went and got her contacts.

I wouldn't risk getting those ones and normally those sort of ones are just disposable anyway. If you get proper ones then they last forever or at least a long time.

 

Hmm I bought them. I just want to try them out. Tell me how it works for you. I might get them later.

 

I have had normal contacts, they are easy to put in after you get the hang of it. I have always wanted a color pair like these but what if they are too big/small for my eyes?

 

I wear contacts daily and while I can take them in and out in under a minute or so now, it would take closer to 20 or 25 minutes when I first got them. Be ready to be annoyed beyond belief when you first try to put them in. The only tips I can really give are to just barely touch it to your eye - don't push very hard. After you it leaves your finger, move your eye around a little bit before blinking. When taking them off, I like to put my fingers on the edge of each side of the eye, then slowly move my eye left and right so I can feel the contact. Then you sort of "pinch" it off.

I wear daily contacts so I don't need any solution or case, so I can't help you there sorry.
