Would you die to save the lives of two others?

I would say "maybe", because just asking "would you die to save the lives of two others" is not a clear cut question. Suppose the two other people were criminals or other low-lifes. or maybe one of the people was a decent, honest person, but the other one was a pervert or some shit like that? Personally I would say yes and just hope that i wouldn't regret it.

 

What if the criminal was rehabilitated, and a better person? What if the decent, honest person commits an atrocious crime as a result of your saving him/her? What if the pervert never harmed anyone?

You can't just base it on the person, because you never know what the person may do or may have done.

Just answer the question: If you had to sacrifice yourself in place of two total strangers of which you know nothing about, would you do it?

 

I may if it was someone I knew. If it wasn't and was some random probably not. It all depends on who it is to me. I would if it was family or friends.

 

No. I am heavily self important and scared of death.
Two lives are worth more then one but you can't enjoy their 'worth' if you are dead.
Also, I don't think the persons standing in society should influence the decision. Who are we, as humans, to judge that a doctor's life is worth more then a janitors.

It all really depends on the two people. I have lived an honest life, and if I know the two people are deserving then I would have an obligation to give up my life.

 

I would do it for my parents, no doubt about that.

 

Its a hard question to ask yourself. If God wants me to die, the person would shoot me rather then the 2 other people.

Do I know them? Are they important people? Are the honest, good people?
