When can one expect to successfully appeal their perm ban?

I know that jagex will often unban accounts that have perm bans for botting after a certain time period? So my 2 questions are:

Roughly how long do I have to wait? 6 months? A year? 2 years? More?

And they say that after you send in 1 appeal that any appeals after that will be ignored. So if I tried to appeal as soon as I was banned, am I fucked now forever? Or do they accept appeals again after a certain amount of time? Has anyone done 2 appeals where the first failed, and a year or so later they sent another that was accepted?

 

Every appeal I’ve submit ranging from 2012-2019 (yes 2019) have been successful - note these are all macroing bans. I’m guessing Jagex must need the membership cash lmfao

 

let me help you with this as iv'e got some experience with this situation

as far as I am aware , they are only beginning to unban accounts that have been banned for 3years!+

speaking from my own personal experience.. if you get your appeal for un-ban denied, this isn't the be-all end-all.. you can put forward subsequent appeals and have them reviewed..

I did exactly that.. and I got my account unbanned from 2016, as for what I selected on the page..

I selected.. 'macro' (obviously because that was the reason why it was banned)
and, for the 2nd option, I had selected account hijacking, this was the appeal that was successful for me and I got my account back

let me be clear, the account wasn't hijacked in any way but they still let me get my account back!

 

I used “I broke the rules and want to apologize” and got mine unbanned from like 6 years ago. I’ve had an account get perm banned twice and unbanned twice haha. But that was after years. This specific account I really want. Cause I refuse to start over on Ironman. I was 2050 total and my dumbass botted and got banned. So I’m just not playing runescape until I get my iron unbanned and it’s fucking lame.

I randomly logged in after 1.5 years and I was no longer banned. The weirdest thing ever. I got a nothing minor then a blotting major back in 2019.

 

id wait a year, and then you might have luck. the longer you wait the better.
