People can get banned becuase someone says so?

There isn't any proof, and the only thing to back up the ban is TDD's memory.

Does this mean I can say hm0ng is a scammer and you ban him?

That does make little to no sense at all. However if someone such as Sythe or PEN says so, then they are by far THE MOST trusted people here. What they say goes.

It isnt the same with lesser mods tho. That makes no sense at all.

Mods, including sectionals, have always had the ability to ban anyone with good reason. A former mod's judgement is presumed to be no less credible simply because they've been demoted.

The fact that TDD is banned changes things slightly, but since it's for a sig infraction and that was TDD's section, Verts had no reason not to trust him.

Unique's dispute will still be looked into, and we'll figure out what to do with it given the circumstances. I fully believe that TDD believes that he ripped; but, like anyone, he may be mistaken.

 

You should have investigated before banning someone just based off one person's memory...

 

Sythe is turning into a joke... Seriously. Cfrey was like the best mod. Don't know why hes not mod anymore but the new ones are a bit... Don't really have to answer that.

 

Tdd could be mistaken. However, they should not ban someone merely of someones memory, seeing as there could be many different users who use similar names.

 

We'd rather ban someone who could be of harm to other members than not and have regret it. It's being looked into like DG said.

TDD has a fetish for banning sig rippers. I remember a couple of years back he would always ban anyone I would say ripped a signature, no matter what he was doing. He wouldn't not remember something like that which is why it's being looked into.

 

YAY good on Cfrey when I started at Sythe all the mods where cool but now.. Yeah a bit different.

 

I really doubt he would have acted upon memory, and nothing else, but if so then I don't think everyone whining about it will really remedy the situation.

Lol, my friend got banned for "Banned Evading" also anthor got banned for "fake vouches" when he really did get what he was vouching for, just because the guy that sold it to him got banned?
pretty poor.

 

i just read its over that's a joke. seriously most of the mods on this site don't know what there doing or there like 12 years old its getting kind of sad. I mean really i was scammed by a mod that "didn't know what he was doing" so he could be unbanned i mean really shit needs to start getting more strait around here i log on maybe 5 minutes a day lately due to all the nonsense.
