Are Asians really more intelligent?

It depends on the person you are talking about, you can't say something about 1 "asian" in this case and apply it to all the rest.

 

I dont believe they are born smarter. I believe they choose their career paths differently to other races and choose to focus on studies therefore pulling excellent academic results.

 

Well, I would say that Asians are considered superior in terms of intelligence due to their upbringing, environment, peers, etc. I do believe that it's ludicrous to make claims that Asians are more intelligent due to their genetic makeup or something from within. It's likely that migrating Asians would have a higher IQ due to the fact that they are receiving multiple educational forms and gaining knowledge from Americans/Canadians as well as information from their home town.

 

God damn, they're all smarter than you, thats for sure! Fuck no, they're not naturally smarter than us. Its just most of them come from a hard working background with hard working parents who never think anything is good enough. Not to mention some asian countries have 6 days of school like 8-10 hours a day.

Actually Asians (Mongloids) have slightly bigger brains then whites (Causacoids).

 

Bigger brains doesn't mean higher IQ's :\

 

Because we all have human brains and there is no difference in the "processing" bigger brains does mean more intelligence.

I agree that "in General" the Asian race is smarter, I think it's because kids are forced to learn. I have an asian friend, he never goes outside, and he's always getting yelled at to study from his dad.

I have also however, seen some dumb ones who just skip and smoke pot and get bad grades. I guess it's just all how you are raised. Some of my white friends just get straight A's.

But the fact that Asian, aren't naturally born smart, yet their mind is open to a lot of thing. Me, I'm not the smartest Asian, because of the fact that I'm also lazy.. But it is just how much the parents try to influence in knowledge at such a young age.. I mean, it all began with ridiculing Asian with the "Ching Chong" jokes when growing up, its put Asian away from society(Some),Later to be proven wrong. But hey.. that's how my cousin and I's lives have been so far.. It just start how things happen to determine the end.

Exactly my point. I'm trying to point out whether they are SMARTER, not more that they exert more effort.

 

None the less that not all Asians are smart.. Me being one of them.. (3.82 Gpa Boo) lol.

 

My personal opinion is that Asians being born smarter is a complete steriotype. Most people in Chinese and Japanese schools go to school for hours more than "the average Joe." At least to my knowledge this is true. I have always heard that Chinese and Japanese (and others) go to school for longer hours than most Caucasians/Blacks/Other Ethnicities. Correct me if I am wrong please.

 

Asian parents come down harder on studying because it's a norm in Asian society to pursue a professional career path (i.e. Doctors, Lawyers, etc), and that is achieved by tough work ethcics and study habits taught by their parents.

 

They may seem smarter but that is not really true. They do everything in teams, I am talking everything. It's probably in there religion that when combined they are more powerful.
