I hope you people realize that after having someone live in space for an amount of time, them returning to earth would be practically suicide.

In other words, the lack of gravity would make their bones brittle, and therefore returning to Earth would likely result in very ... unfavourable consequences.

 

Swan, That is true on spaceships, but I read somewhere that if there was an orbiting space colony, the spin on it would create a fake gravity, maybe something can even be invented to put this on space ships, or something

 

maybe they found something they don't wan us to know about so theu are silently slowely trying to figure things out with aliens. The economy is just a small thing. look at the bigger picture, we need to make friends with ET beings.

And for all you people complaining about poverty, its not the U.S job to bailout everyone. FDR created a government in which people are to dependent on our governemnt. health care, Social security, unemployment. All things that are bad for government. all this shit equals higher taxes and less money.

space travel is ridiculous. the fastest speed is that of the speed of light. If u truly understanad or could comprehend the vastness of space or how it contnually expands you would realize space travel is useless. Even if it was possible the time to reach other galaxies would be far greater than wat it seems. look on the discovery channel and they will break some of it down. in the end it is eons before we as humans could trly touch or grasp the technology or mind to understand that of TRUE space and time

 

It's a great point, but financially it isn't worth tax payers dollars. There is plenty that can be studied from here on Earth (be it with older samples, space telescopes, lunar rovers, etc). We will eventually get back there, it's just been put on the back burner for the time being until the world's economy stabilizes.

If you are rich, you think now. Some people work 10 Hours a day plus, and get like $10 Dollars the day.

Why spend more money when economy is flooding.

We really should be focusing our eyes towards alternate energy for everyday items, so we could end up doing something for spacecraft also.

The government is travelling space, They are doing research, etc.
