    Ban evasion: A complex tale

    Hello Sythe.

Last night, atleast for me in the UK i replied to a post and then turned off for the night. I woke up this morning and tried to log on......when...i was banned, for ban evasion. This struck me oddly, Timberillo is my only account, what could be casuing this? I submitted a dispute which was handled by Jesee, he stated that i had multiple accounts 2 of which were banned, therefore i was a ban evader. The registered IP apprently were all the same. He posted the IP's along with the usernames as shown below.

As you can see quite a list, i searched one of them and i found their user profile, i looked up the person's posts, (by the way, he's banned now) and i found he was selling stuff, well duh eh? Ok, but what struck me that was odd is his e-mail, as shown below again.

I'd met that person before, in fact i had a log of when we talked, he sold RS gold and i was going to buy off him but i didn't trust him, as shown below again. As you can see, i talked to him on the 24th, which was about 10 days ago. If that was infact me, would i really talk to myself 10 days ago?

I tried to track my IP as well, but it came up as shown below. I use an mobile broadband on my laptop as it's convenient, the IP tracks it down to vodafone's offices in Newbury.

Lastly, i'd like you to check the IP that Timberillo was created under, the IP Jesee found was the IP i used last night, however the IP i registered under was way before i even got this internet. I think that the list that Jesee retrieved aren't all the same people, but rather people who use Vodafone mobile broadband.

Finally, Giddy today responded to a dispute saying that the person's grammar was the same, please compare my grammar therefore with the grammar's of others.

I submitted an appeal earlier, but after talking to Jesee, he suggested i submit another, so here it is.

I've never had any other accounts apart from this one itself, i'd never ban evade and i doubt that i was when i was banned.

Thank you for looking into this

p.s. the links are photos corobarting everything i have said

You are responsible for your IP. I searched it in modcp and nearly 50 matches came up, most or all of them banned accounts. As I told you on MSN earlier, we have no method of discerning self vouchers / ban evaders from legit people so we take the precaution of banning both.

edit: Ok, it seems there's a little more to it. Apparently the IP is that of a mobile ISP service which likely re-uses IPs.
