This has gone on for long enough?

It does get annoying, but it's not that hard to deal with...

 

It would be nice if someday, the forum does get upgraded. Atleast once a day, it won't open for me.

 

Wow, it amazes me how naive some of you fools really are.

First, Sythe easily makes enough money from this forum to upgrade his hosting. If you don't think he does, leave now and spare me the stupidity.

Second, Sythe's one and only goal is to make money. He could care less if the site is a bit slow or down sometimes, unless of course it's down so much it hinders his profits.

Third, all donations go DIRECTLY to Sythe's pocket, not a single cent of it goes to the forum. He makes enough from AdBrite to pay the hosting bill in tenfold. The donations are simply another way he can make some money.

 

When you create a successful forum come back and talk to me..

The points you raise could easily be truth, yet you don't personally know anything... it is still just speculation so curb the arrogance. I hope Sythe does make some money from this site and if you are unhappy with that then try one of the alternative sites or better yet create your own forum if there is money to be made.

 

Sythe.org is attacked by hundreds of botnets. The amount of money it would cost for a server to keep up the constant attack of zombie computers would cost several thousand dollars or more.

You see the donations Sythe gets from here, and his recent partnership with Gold4RS. He keeps 1/2 the money.

It should be:
"An upgrade would cost money that Sythe doesn't wanna spend"

but yeah, to get a server that could keep sythe.org up through all those botnets would cost thousands of dollars, which sythe doesn't have.

 

Who really gives a shit. Sythe is nothing special.

Everyone's so hasty about Sythe. It's not really a big deal, Sythe hasn't been down much this week. It only goes off on tangents occasionally, which isn't really a problem. I'd bet that if it got ridiculous something would be done about it though.

The cheapest i've seen so far that is actually decent and not a dodgy site costs around 2.5-3 grand.

 

Look at the Size Of Sythe.org, all the registered users.. posts.. Etc, Its literally the biggest forum i've ever been on..

To anyone is having a go at sythe for making money from you guys.. Why complain when your the guys who are Donating..
Hes a genius.. and im not kissing ass either, im guessing he does make profit.. but well, its come like a business to him, not just a forum he owns.. This forums are most likely a main cause for him making money IRL..
