    Human Growth Hormone

What are you views on this substance? Is it detrimental to your health? Is it a dangerous substance to intake? Or is it beneficial to the one taking it?

I've seen a few videos on this subject. Personally I think you shouldn't tamper with a human's normal growth rate unless it is vital for their survival. It should be controlled strictly, not used recreationally to grow bigger/taller

I don't see the point of taking supplements, especially one as serious as growth hormones. The only "legit" reason I can think of is using it for medical purposes. Other than that, there are no other good reasons why you should use artificial hormones.

HGH. I've seen it work miracles. I've seen people get huge off of this. I don't think it is too healthy, but i would agree that it is better than pure steroids

Why not? If I somehow got my hands on hgh (it's expensive!) and intended to use it to assist in growing muscle tissue you'd stop me?
What about senior citizens who just want something that might help them be more active? Is it ok for them to use it?

Why go against the fundamental procedures of nature? Besides the fact that it is completely unnatural, who knows what sort of unpredictable side effects could arise.

I'm not necessarily advocating the use of it, I just think it isn't my business if somebody wants to.
The side effects are actually well documented and aren't really that bad compared to what you can get from it.
Ever notice in bodybuilding shows the guys seem to have big guts despite having very low bf%? That's one of the potential sides - your internal organs and intestines and stuff grow.

I took HGH for about two years, ages 13 to 15 I think. I took it legally though, it was prescribed to me as I was much lower then the average height. My first six months using it, I grew 3 inches. It was amazing, it continued to work, an average of about 2 inches every 6 months, but after two years, our insurance didn't want to pay for it any longer. As it was about 30k usd yearly, there was no way I would be able to continue using it.

I really think people underweight/height should look into it's use. Injection is easy, 1 quick shot into the leg or ass daily, at 13 I was doing it myself. Honestly, it is also a good replacement of steroids, it is much safer and if you want to get big, this is the way to go.

Edit. I took "Nutropin". Really simple, a nice little pen to give the shots, needles were small, areas where I could put the shots were nice and fatty (thigh or ass cheek)

I agree it is not our business personally, but I think it should definetly be restricted to medicinal purposes only.

Not exactly, HGH as a pill (herbal enhancer) or as a spray is a relatively cheap product, something like $50 for a months worth. I do agree you should be permitted to use HGH as you please. But other than the price, I absolutely agree with your views.

I wasn't aiming for the legal answer per se. I was looking for more of an answer on the pills and sprays, perhaps injections. I know the injections are far more potent, but the sprays and pills have been known to occasionally succeed. I'm for HGH in almost all uses, other than professional sports. The HGH's which are more commonly used amongst people ages 18-30 are the cheaper non invasive substances rather than injections- these are far cheaper and easily purchase able, it's rather difficult to get HGH which is top quality without a prescription.

Well the pill (herbal enhancer) just makes the pituitary gland more active which release hgh. It apparently works pretty well. The spray doesn't really work because it can't be absorbed through the back of their mouth. Actual hgh, the stuff that you inject, is expensive.
Thanks for pointing out the differences though, I just assumed we were talking about one specific thing.

I think that substance is kind of tinkering with our existence...

As some people might see it, God has created people to grow at their designated rates.. taking these pills would be considered tampering (to me) and I think he'd be unhappy..

And scientifically, I think people would live longer without these pills. Whats the point of rushing growth when knowing we're getting closer to death?

While hgh doesn't extend lifespan, it can definitely improve the quality of life for senior citizens.

Would this really be beneficial for our Senior Citizens?

Would this affect you if you are in your mid 20's?

it doesnt affect anyone if their bones have solidified -.-

any male around 16 that's under 5 foot 6 IMO should take it. Sure it is "tampering with nature" but hey it's for the better.

if you think otherwise gl finding a date if you're a 5 foot tall male.

I see you've done your reading my friend. It's not necessarily accurate that the spray is ineffective, it does work on occasion though. Yeah, there's a few different forms of it that you can take :D

A welsh rugby players known as Andy Powell has spent over £30,000 on HGH. It's very hard to test for so he will get away with it with the benefits it offers

That's injectable HGH, but that really has nothing to do with the topic. I wanted to see what others though about HGH and perhaps provide some answers to the above questions.
