Is trading items safer then gp?

Let’s say I wanted to buy gold, but instead I decided to buy items instead of the gold. Is there a better chance of not getting caught with doing so?

 

I believe it is better to trade items compared to gp, since they monitor the gold movement much more than items being traded.

 

Okay, I was thinking just as much. I don’t see anyone really say they’ve been banned due to trading items since they can’t really know if someone is just lending for the time being or not. Appreciate it!

 

It also depends on what kind of accounts you trade and how you trade along with the locations you are trading at, plus some other factors.

 

It doesn't matter that much in my opinion. If there was a difference, it's probably minuscule.

i would say this is completely wrong tbh. I have been using 4 accs With cb lvl 3-4 and all skill lvls 1 for over 3 years now without any bans at lumbridge w308. No idea how many bils i have bought/sold using those accs and same for rs3.

 

though a lot of things with RWT and botting are really subjective, I quite agree. I think getting caught doing rwt is mostly just bad luck, though I'd also say that trading bils on a lvl3 vs a maxed main is probably a bit more less suspicious. I have no proof to back this up, but it's just my rough guess.

 

Dont think the item matter, its probebly a flag on certain values that getting traded

 

How much roughly on bils? And all accounts on different proxies? And are these datacenter or residentials?

 

I use the same ip for all my accs and probably 20-30b traded on those accs (bought/sold)

 

I don't suggest using proxies if your ISP provides dynamic IP addresses.

 

My Account got banned 2 days ago, one of my accounts but I would suggest using items and not having the account logging in from different locations.

VPN can be useful at times, depending how you use it.

 

I haven’t had any issues with buying gold tbh. I’ve already bought close to 2b and haven’t had an issue yet and hope to never have one!

 

Is there proof of this? It would make more sense to monitor the amount of wealth, rather than just gp. From their perspective at least.

 

I doubt it makes a difference, but this is a hunch.

Agree with prior comments about total wealth rather than GP

 

Bans for RWT are pretty rate, but I would think that items would probably be a bit better since people do lend weapons and armors often.

 

Might as well take every advantage to try to stat safe RWTing
