Moon Landing A Hoax?

Yes it is really expensive but why waste billions on useless wars such as Vietnam or Iraq which have no advantadge for the U.S.A
The moon has great potential. It holds numerous mineral and other useful reserves. The moon has the ability to be the site of future space colonies for further space exploration and there is an economic potential in the space tourism industry.

Also space probes can gather rocks, you don't have to land on the moon to gather rocks.

Well for starts, it coasts a massive amount of money,
and there is nothing for us to research upon this rock, that we have not already.
The evidence is clear we have been there,
why does a silly rumor prevent you all from seeing the truth in that?

 

I really think the mythbusters made an episode and busted every myth which claimed the moon landing was a hoax. I will let you know if I find it.

So because a gay red head and a dude with a beret said it was true on national television, its automatically true? So if i get on CNN and say aliens exist, then they do? How are they a credible source.

 

hahah you tool, you report the thread starter for insulting people yet he is right that just because a show might test something doesn't mean if you test the same thing that the same results will happen

I voted possible because there is a lot of evidence that it is a hoax, but then there's stuff that shows that it's not a hoax. Both arguments prove very good points but I can't decide yes or no.

 

True. If i could change my vote i would vote possible. While it is common acceptace as yes. many still believe no. possible leaves the vote in the middle.

The so called "evidence" doesn't show a fake, it shows some loosely tied together theories, nothing more. I don't particularly think the moon landing was a hoax due to the sheer fact that the film would have been perfectly flawless. If there were errors with the jumping sequences the government and the space industry would have made sure that the evidence which they had produced was impeccable. No one is going to release a video in attempts to prove something with multiple loop holes incorporated in it. The wire proof really doesn't prove much to me, it could have been anything. The jump sequences I explained above. I don't think it was a hoax, but just like any other well thought out theory, this is a fallacy, such as Pearl Harbor being a government setup. But, honestly, who knows? It could have very well been a staged landing, but to my beliefs and knowledge it was not.

 

This is pretty interesting... it seems like there are wires... but ... IM not sure what to say, but again this is interesting...

 

Everyone is using the same "God" format for intelligently discussing this topic. Post your views on why and why not, not "Well tell me how they're right" and "Well tell me how they're wrong". The mythbusters aren't just two people who have odd hair styles and try to provide methodology behind situations. They use proper scientific methods to provide answers to peoples questions. They easily show that the topography of the moon can cause non-parallelism in the shadows which we cast. The videos which were posted a few posts above is actually very interesting and scientifically correct.
