How do you think the Universe began?

There are many theories and ideas about how the Universe we live in was created. Two main ideas are either creation by something divine e.g. God or the Big bang theory in which everything exploded and formed from something small.

What do you think? any other suggestions? How do you think the Universe will end if it will ever end.

 

This also goes along with a Devine Intervention and Theory of Evolution. I believe in evolution and big bang theories. They are much more plausible. However I do have a religion.

I used to think after we die, we go into another universe. For instance, right when you die you are reborn. You aren't reborn onto Earth though. It's just a theory I came up with when I was going to sleep.

 

I had the same thinking and I still believe it. Just because it sounds absurd doesn't make it untrue

 

True, but I thought that some other theory might overlap it in my future thoughts.

 

I've got so much "theory's" that if I told you half you would think I were some crazy fuck.

 

For now I believe in God because of Bible prophecy coming true, experiences with ghosts, and the Big Bang has a few flaws in it that pretty much say it couldn't have happened. Like the second law of thermodynamics refutes a lot of the Big Bang. I also don't believe that matter always existed, so I don't believe that the atom that held the universe always existed, I believe the beginning was nothing, no universe just nothing, and outside of the universe was energy, and that energy is God.

 

I don't know how you can be educated in the 2nd law of thermodynamics, and not be educated about the Big Bang.

You have to consider a few assumptions, firstly, that the entire universe (or multi-verse) was a closed system at that point, or that the laws of physics even existed under such conditions - keep in minds, that many forces developed only POST big-bang.

You also have to consider, that the Big-Bang does not refute the existence of God, merely that the universe is EXPANDING from a central point. The theory proposes what occurred the moments after creation, but does not explain how that explosion came to be.

 

I believe that God made us.

Your first idea seems most logical as it seems reasonable. Your second idea makes no sense, if we don't exist, what are we doing now?. This leads to another question, what are we? What is the definition of exist.

 

how does it not make sense? to me it makes perfect sense , but then what is the definition of sense?

 

This is something that really boggles my mind, if I think about that God created us, I wonder how he did it and where it started from. Where does the universe end? if so what is beyond that, does the universe end? It's really confusing to think that God created it, but it wouldn't just spawn out of nowhere right?
There are so much dimensions that the human cannot experience because we are only limited to the 4th dimension as far as I know

 

Yes absolutely, what is god? whered god come from. You can't say god is a he as you are giving him a gender. Is god the origin of the big bang? Many questions to be answered.

 

I have always wondered that if god exists and he is all mighty, all knowing etc. then why is there suffering, disabilitys, etc. would he not be able to make perfect humans if he himself is perfect?

 

Well i was thinking, maybe he had many projects/developments? and our world is maybe an experiment? Perhaps we are meant to be perfect but to suffer/be happy/experience different emotions and situations which we want/do not want.

 

that just leads back to the question of how god was created or who created him and if you think about it say someone created god then, who created that someone? it just goes on and on and there is no end because it can't just stop

 

I personally took a course about the "Big Bang" theory.

I really believe that it was what caused the creation of the universe but what I don't understand is what caused anything.
I mean the theory revolves around atoms heating and cooling but what caused and created it?
