Getting gum out of my pants

OK, so I go to sit down yesterday and I sit on a wad of gum. So I go to the bathroom and there's this huge blob completely packed into a spot on my jeans. I really love these jeans, so I need to know how I can get the gum out

lime juice should work. squirt and scrape.

Also, you can put a couple of icecubes on it. I think the reason this works is because there are enzymes in it, the cold slows them down. The gum will simply pull off without stretching. If you apply heat, though, it will be a mess.

 

yeah just like everyone says you can put it in the freezer or just put a lot of ice cubes in tissue and set it on the jeans.

Wait half and hour and start to scratch it off, and just repeat the freezing process and when only a little bit of it is left u can just take a scrubber and hand wash it off.

i know cause it happened to my gym shirt lol.

lol your funny, if you put it in the wash it will just get on other clothes, unless you are only talking about putting the jeans only.....which would be pointless.

 

Putting only the jeans would get gum caked on the dryer or washer, happened when I left gum in my pocket last year. I had to rub it off with steal wool and it took hours

 

If you rub a little more gum on it it should come right off ;D, Kidding please dont do that, and Im glad to hear steel wool worked haha. =P

 

Hey what worked best for me is Ice, then afterwards peanut butter. Try it

use ice/freeze it

after wards use vegetable oil to loosen the rest

 

Excuse me sir but peanut butter has oil too.

So basically vegetable oil would work too, haven't tried though?

 

First take your pants and put them in a safe environment. Get 2 slices of bread 2 slices of bacon and peanut butter. Put the gum spoiled part between the 2 slices of bread. Apply peanut butter to both sides of pants. Put 1 piece of bacon on each side. It should come off in 20 minutes.
