Be wary. Once you train prayer you will never have 1 prayer again. 31 prayer wont do much to make you hit more often. You need attack for that.

13 prayer owns cuz its 10%STR increase while 31 pray is 15%STR increase. However, 31 prayer adds 2 extra combat lvls that 13 prayer would not, allowing you to gain both STR lvls and hp lvls that would eventually outweigh your opponents.
Get 40 ranged as well. DHide is better def bonus than iron. Wear a monks robe top, STR ammy, dhide chaps and vambs, bronze full helm, strongold rainbow boots, & a team cape.
My STR pure is ^ what I just said, and it owns.

 

Have in mind what you lose prayer points very fast and you always need go to altar to restore them, that really sick time wasting. I suggest to keep prayer 1 and I think allot of the best pures will suggest you this to. Prayer also drop down you account price. So..

Leave it as 1 prayer and make up for it with strength levels. 31 prayer isn't going to do much attack wise.

gohan doesn't know what he's talking about. in f2p, pures are better with 31 or 34 prayer. Accounts with high defense are good without it (yes without it keeps cmb lower)

unless you're camping an alter, which is what everyone does in pvp it isn't worth it.

I had a rune pure, 40 def 90 str 80 attk, 31 prayer was well worth it but 34 is better.

 

Yes, the 15% strength helps aswell as protect item.

I'd get 80 strength first however.

Don't listen to most of these kids. 31 prayer basically has no benifits until your 90+ str. Even though i would advise against it in f2p as there are no Prayer potions to get your pray back up. %85 of f2p pures get bored of training str at 70 and get prayer up. They ruin there decent pures when they do that. trust me you will be better off staying 1 pray.

half of these kids don't even pk or know what they are talking about. Listen, stay 1 until at least 80 or 85 strength otherwise people your level will be hitting higher than you cause the 15% increase doesn't do much until you're high level strength.
