Hey Guys,
Im from Australia and want to be a pilot.
Can you recommend what i should do im in year 9.
If you have Flight Sim X...I would be happy to fly with you in multiplayer.

Ain't pilot you have to spend like 10 years in uni or someshit ?

 

I do have FS X, currently uninstalled.

Most piloting schools ARE looking for people with an undergraduate degree from university, although I do not believe this is a requirement (at least in canada)

You will also be required to meet various medical standards. I'm only really familiar with the Canadian system, however the push is to standardize it world-wide.

The medical exam you must pass is a Category-1 Medical.

What type of pilot's license are you going for? Sports, Private, Commercial, or what?

I have FSX on my computer, and I would be happy to fly with you. Just name the date/time/your user name.

 

I strongly suggest joining the Australian Air Force Cadets you can get awesome discounts and even schollarships to flying lessons. My brother is currently doing his 3rd stage of solo flying. Should have his Solo wings in a few moths.






If you want to start flying after school, you have to do Maths B, and usually achieve an op of 5 or better.

im looking for a commercial Pilot license. And yes macroman i will be joining the RAAF Cadets. And im confident with school requirements.

 

I'm pretty sure you need some College/University courses, but I'm not entirely sure. Good luck in becoming a pilot

P.S. You should probably take the advice of the person who suggested junior cadets, it helps a lot. Again, Gl on becoming a pilot!

Depends which way u want to go either Air Force or Civilian pilot?
I'm a budding pilot and will hopefully be in the Air Force in the next year. Air Force would be a hell of a lot better, have been on some joy rides with the hercules man it was awesome we were 250 feet above ground weaving through the darling range (WA) and 100 feet going up and down the gold coast best ecperience of my life. Go Air Force

 

im aiming at Civilian pilot but RAAF for experience and good application for CPL. I have flown in a cessna 402 twin engine and had control...

Stuff Hercules , go in the C-17 Their even more fun. Personally If i choose to be a pilot, I'd go for air force.
