Restroom Usage

The other day I was sitting in class, minding my own business as usual, and I asked to use the lavatory. The teachers declined my request. I then proceeded to ask again 10 minutes later, to no avail; she had declined my request again. Next thing you know, I decided to walk out of class and use the restroom. It was last period so I'm not sure what the consequences are yet. I do have a question though, do you think it was wrong of me to exit the classroom? What do you think the consequences of my actions will be?

My response to this question would be that it's a necessity which cannot be declined, if someone has to use the restroom there isn't a second option rather than letting them leave. Now, I could understand if I asked consistently everyday, but I've only asked a few times in this specific class.

I've done it before she has little reason to hold you. Keep in mind that you coulda just held it... You won't get any punishment but she/he may bring it up.

 

The teacher is considered very strict by the students, I knew this. I had to go that badly where I would defy one of the more strict teachers in the school. I hadn't gone in a while and she is unaware of when I last went. My school is a private one as well, so I'm not sure of the consequences which await me...

 

if she does anything complain, because nobody has the right to prevent that from you- when a man has to go a man has to go!

Next time though, be funnier and threat that you'll do it inside the Trash can if they dont let you out, i did it once and it was some funny shit

Yeah I know, I agree. I think the main factor of my argument would be that I asked kindly twice and both times my request was denied. They don't know if I have a medical condition etc. (although I don't). It's ludicrous how a teacher thinks they have enough power to deny someone from preforming a bodily function, especially when I am paying a portion of their salaries.

Well since we're not in college we have to request permission to use the bathroom, it sucks but we don't have to specify what we're doing though haha.

done this several times, teacher just told me to go before class when I came back.

 

They can't really do anything about that so yeah I would of done the same thing. ^_^

 

If you have to go, you have to go... and if you're teacher isn't going to let you go, then take it into liberty to let yourself out.

I just hate it when the teachers deny you permission to go to the bathroom. If you're that worried that we're going to ditch or go outside to use our phones then ask us to leave them in the classroom as collateral.

 

I have done the same thing multiple times. Normally I get written up for Insubordination by my teacher, then when I talk to the dean, I explain to him what the problem was (I had to use the restroom urgently and the teacher would not let me go). Once I am done he just excuses me.

As long as you did nothing to interupt the class and you really did go to the restroom and back to class, I don't see any reason why you would get into any real trouble.
