Is public school bad?

year7-8 i went to a public school, and now im in year9 and probably will be until year12.

all i can say is education wise, whether u go to a public school or private, its not the teachers, nor the school, but it depends on YOU. if you put in the effort you will get results public or not.

social wise, private school loses by default. not because of the snobs, but just because they havn't learnt to socialize. most private schools are boys only etc, and when they go outside they are like.. "oh hey, you are a girl... so.." then theres the awkward silences. so i was lucky to be in a public school for 2 years meeting the hot chicks and knowing alot of mates.

public schools also have more fights, gangs, and is way more fun. like, i can not stress enough how much more fun and more free time u get in a public school.

on the otherhand, if you get a good education, and career, the rest of your life will be fun,rich and easy. so the choice is yours.
but i played it smart, i still had fun made friends talked to girls etc, and am going to get a good education. i'm also persuing into a basketball career, so it just proves not all private school kids are nerds

just a week ago i went back to see some mates in my old school. and looking back, i thought.. "wow, all these people look like downers and look like they want to go no where in life". really, its the truth. i thought how lucky i was to get into a private school ( and my parents arn't rich). apart from my mates, and the girls i knew, after i told them i was going to a private school i thought they would hate me. but to tell you the truth they miss me and we still get in touch. infact, they respect me, because they know im going to be someone.

Private definitely.

 

Not everywhere,where i live,i go to a public school,it's the best school in the whole City,and students when they graduate they get the highest marks due to good education.
