Why hasn’t gold prices decreased?

With more and more ways to make gold within OSRS, why has the price of gold stayed relatively consistent?

 

Wdym? isnt it at an all time low rn?

 

I just feel that it should be lower based on all of the good money makers out there

 

It's already in the lower end of things. I'm assuming things like the Duel Arena tax is helping a lot preventing gold prices to nosedive.

0.43 per mill. It has gone up .01 since yesterday and will probably (hopefully) slowly rise due to a major botting site being shut down. Hopefully more sites get shut down because i'm hoarding a lot of gold right now and want the prices to go up

powerbot was pretty dead anyway. most likely zero effect.

 

Right now it seems to be at an all time low. What prevents it from falling further is probably the duel arena tax and large influx of new players.

 

The answer to your question is it has actually decreased a lot over time. 10% every month or so (correct me here) is a massive drop a currency can have long term.
