    Sleep.

Well, the past few weeks I have been trying to better my sleeping patterns. Before these two weeks, I was getting about.. 2-3 hours sleep per night. I just couldn't sleep. I would just lay there for hours. But, when I did fall asleep, I would have very odd dreams... Sometimes morbid, sometimes just extremely realistic.

In the past two weeks where I've been trying to sleep more, these dreams stopped. It's odd to me, really. I'm not sure why they stopped. I'm wondering if anyone would have any clue why this would happen.

This is probably a stupid question. :p

I'm sorry if this topic is in the incorrect place.

If you're only getting 2-3 hours of sleep, you should see a doctor, maybe you have insomnia. I'm not sure why you're having the dreams though, I don't think the morbid dreams would directly correlate with the minimal amount of sleep. The whole thing seems odd to me.

Graham. He said ever since he has started getting more sleep-as in going to bed earlier, and sleeping more- his dreams have stopped. I'm not sure why it's happening, because I too only get about 2-3 hours of sleep. Insomnia sucks. I'd reccomend you seeing a doctor, they will probably beable to help you.

Maybe it's the sudden change in sleep. Like, if you are inactive for tons of years, than one day you decide to start running, it may take time to adjust.

    Good luck.

Maybe you just don't remember your dreams anymore?! If you wake up in the middle of the night and you remember your dream and you don't write it down somewhere and you go back to sleep, you usually forget your dream.

Is there something big going on in your life? Any big changes or events happening? That may explain the vivid dreams.

I often listen to music before I fall asleep. It helps me fall asleep faster and stimulates dreams.

I go to bed when I'm extremely tired so that I will fall asleep right away and it works quite well. :)

Well I have a normal time when I go to bed which is from 10-11 usually. I just happen to be really tired from the long day lol. I don't really wait until I'm super tired.

    Sleep.

The dreams you had were called Lucid dreams if I am not mistaken. They are invoked by irregular sleeping patterns.
