I've never been a huge fan of the text in your signatures... Maybe it's time to try something other than changing the blending mode on the text layers.

 

Can you suggest anything apart from changing text styles/serif type?

 

I think the text actually looks pretty ok, in this tag.
Try to improve your lighting it's an obvious soft brush.

 

i think your font is alittle hard to read.
if it was a little brighter and easier to see it would be fine.

The smudge on his right shoulder is a little to dramatic and the size of the signature is....different. Definitely a good quality signature, but there's some minor flaws here and there. The lighting may look a little to dramatic also.

8/10 Overall. Great sig, but then again not perfect =]
