Lil Wayne - Best rapper or Worst.

Well if I remember correctly, "Lets Go" was referring to fighting and clubbing. So that still falls back on rap and gangsta rap that most wayne listener's are used to, unlike prom queen. He isn't talking about non of the usual things heard in rap.

 

His stuff is alrite im not a fan of his voice those as said numerous times it's annoying.

And for the record Dizzee rascal =/ please I lost respect for him after "jus a rascal" that song was just poor.

his old stuff and new is good, i liek his work with big tymers and old birdman stuff, his rock stuff isnt good tho, he isnt like that guy from hooty and the blowfish

 

He is not good at all listen To Eminem , Tupac , nas and you will know what good is. Lil wayne is the opposite of good , hes a fucking embarrassment to rap.

Yeh, my name being Louisianimal, obviously I'm a fan of Wayne.
One thing I don't like, he uses Autotune, so his voice sounds all moany and whiny. His style is different, but for real, if you were on that styrofoam all day, you'd be spittin' the same type of shit.
Another thing I don't really like about him, is that he's turning to rock. I'm not really feeling the singing from "Prom Queen, Hot Revolver, Time Gone", etc.

But, he's not the best. Nas, hells naw, not him either. There's so many other good rappers coming up in the game. Busta is really coming up, Drake from Weezy's YME is coming hard, Plies is coming hard, Kid Cudi is coming hard recently, Bone Thugs are back, as well as Eminem, Jim Jones, Slim Thug, etc. so this shit's going to be pretty raw.

 

Drinking Lean doesn't make your voice like that, it's from him smoking.

 

He's not bad but he's not that great I would see he's in the median compared to most rappers. A lot of his older shit is better no doubt. Then again my opinion doesn't really matter much because this is a forum and I am more of a rock fan myself. But, I do listen to rap and I seem to be quite fond of NAS so I would take Nas over Wayne anyday for current rapper.

 

I used to love Eminem but hes way to fucked up and mentally crazy, hes raps are literally psycho. Lil' Wayne is the best rapper alive hands down, I don't care what anybody says but nobody can get me as crunk as Lil' Wayne does when I hear one of his tracks. Dudes got hundreds of tracks it's hard to listen to them all cus new shit comes out before you can finish. Although his last album was all old shit for some jacked up reason but hes bounced back on his last few tracks.

Edit: Don't forget about Cassidy that mother fucker freestyled for like 20mins in a row non stop just for the hell of it. Lil' Waynes got mad freestyles to that shit is hot.

 

i quite dislike his music. Many faggets who don't know REAL music like him. If you want real rap or atleast real decent music. Listen to Atmosphere. Best white rappers alive.

He isn't the best rapper ever, and his older stuff is a ton better then his new stuff. Carter II, and Dedication II are both sick, as well as Da Drought is Over III... He goes so hard in those and that's what i like. The Pre Birth was a let down to be honest though. If wayne would go back to the old stuff he'd be a lot better...
