Creating HUGE runescape social networking site (like myspace/facebook) - Help Needed

This site WILL be huge. I'm working on it as we speak

Main Features..
Main profile with info about you.
Then sub profiles you can create for each of your runescape characters.
Quiz's, Polls, Forums, Videos, Marketplace + Way More

Other features include the same general ones as seen on myspace/bebo/facebook

What i require?

Help with Moderation (Post past experiences, if any and why you think you will be fit for the job)

Hi its me

 

I can certainly help with moderation and advertising.

First of all, I am very helpful to many different people on the internet. I do reviews on DS flashcards and I can answer almost every question that people throw at me, I love helping people out, and as for RuneScape, I have been play RuneScape since 2005, My character is only a level 90 but thats because I don't play too often but I know alot about RuneScape.

Second, I am a Global Moderator of a metal board, I would send you a link to the board but they have closed registration to the board to do a bunch of bots trying to get in. I have pride in myself for being very trustworthy, I have 2000+ post on a message board that I have sold many things on, all of which I have never had a problem.

Third, I can advertise like crazy. I am a member of 4 boards, Sythe, The Negation (my metal board that I am a Global Mod on), GBATemp, and Under-The-Radar. I can advertise on these boards like crazy, mostly this board and GBATemp. I have met a bunch of fellow RuneScapers on GBATemp who I am pretty sure would like to join a RuneScape social networking service.

Hello there, i would enjoy helping you out making a runescape community.
Your idea's sound pretty good, and i'm sure it could be a popular hit.

And i don't just want to be in it for an admin/moderator position,
I just want to help you out and hopefully contribute to the running of it.

Oh, and you might also like to know, i'm ok at graphics if ever you need a small quick picture done.
And i will also be able to put alot of my own time into it if that is needed.

What's it going to be called? And you do relise how BIG its going to be? You;ll need several servers running it

 

I'm just going to throw this out there, you can either take it or leave it.

Normal cool people that play runescape (some may think this is an oxymoron) don't typically want other people to know that they play it because its a really gay game. If you don't believe that runescape is gay, consider the following:

1. There is no cussing allowed
2. you can be banned by calling someone gay
3. the average age of a typical person playing runescape is like 10
4. they got rid of the only hardcore part of the game (pking)
5. Its a flash based game and therefore blows incredibly in the graphics department

There are more, but its making me sick thinking about it. Another point: Have you ever met someone and found out that he is a proud Runescaper and immediately thought he was cool? Me either. In fact, it seems that every lame 12 year old that i know plays the game. If you want a facebook group that will keep you from getting laid and having cool friends, this would be perfect (especially if you are a moderator). As for me, ill keep under the radar.

the point of this isnt to interact irl with other rs players, Its just to talk about the game, strategies and show off your rs stuff to people who actually care, you dont have to put your name and adress lol

 

Despite it being a java game i have to agree with what you're saying. I don't think being addicted to a game is something to be proud of but it's not a bad idea.

Hey there, i think this is an excellent idea but why the need for a social networking website? It sounds a bit creepy...

But if you do still do this project, i have some past moderator experiences. And i also know a little bit of HTML. Just throwing it out there...
