Jailbreaking the itouch 2g untethered

How to jailbreak your iTouch 2g version un-tethered...

1st step:
-----------------------

Download quickfreedom

http://rapidshare.com/files/208079000/quickfreedom.exe

2nd step:
-----------------------

Hook ipod touch 2g onto computer and open up quickfreedom

3rd step:
-----------------------
Hit the Jailbreak ipod button and click install libusb (if you don't already have it)
Now if you have a 2.2.1 itouch go to itunes and download that update.

4th step:
-----------------------
Hit create custom firmware (will take 5-10 minutes don't worry)

After its done hit next

5th step:
-----------------------

Put your itouch in DFU mode... you'll hear 2 beats usually if you have itunes up

1st hold down home and sleep button (at the top) for 10 seconds
2nd after 10 seconds is up keep holding the home button and just release the sleep button for 8 seconds

And your ipod is successfully in DFU mode

Now once thats done hit the pre-jail break and it should turn your screen white, if it doesn't
than you have done something wrong... Restart this whole process and try again if it doesn't turn white

6th step:

Now once its done pre jailbreaking go find your custom firmware and open itunes ( I put my CF on my desktop)
now your ipod should pop up on itunes and you need to shift click restore and click on the custom firmware that you
made earlier

7th step:
------------------------

Once it's done restoring your itouch 2g is jailbroken and you can sync everything back and wahlah! untethered!

8th step (optional):
------------------------
Goto a wifi spot and goto cydia and also goto manage then sources and click add and enter cydia.hackulo.us and once thats done
you can goto the source and install installous (where you get free games)

Once your done installing installous goto the icon installous on your home screen and hit the top right 'search'

Search any game you'de like for free and you have to download first than at the bottom it says 'downloads' click on the file
you downloaded and hit install than whalah!
