Your favourite sport?

Just a little poll of all our users. Just interested to see what this forums favourite sport is. If you choose the option "other" please state which sport it is. Bear in mind that it only involves competitive sport, and not hobby sports.ß

 

i love soccer..
its a fun sport.
to be honest its not just kicking a ball it takes years of pracitce to be "good"
im not dising on any other sport.. im jst saying soccer is my favorite sport and to tell everyone its more than just ball kicking..

I picked 'other'.

My favourite sport is "Ice Hockey". I know theres already "Hockey" there but i want to be specific because i hate just normal hockey.

 

I meant Ice hockey. I forgot there was grass hockey, but oh well.

 

Besides Football and Tennis,

Bowling.

 

For me, I picked Rugby League. Although I like other sports too, I was brought up worshipping this sport.

Unless you mean soccer as American Football.

 

There are two forms of Rugby. When I first learned to play RUgby Union, I was a bit confused, but after like twenty minutes I fully understood the basics. However, if one hasn't actually learned how to play it, and he watches it, it's like men jumping on top of each other.

It's slow at times but when you get a good matchup it's epic.

There are 4 quarters in football. After 2, there's halftime, where it's basically a longer commercial break, and they usually have some form of entertainment at the arena, to make it so the fans don't get bored.

Time out is one of the teams stopping the clock and stopping the game temporarily to discuss plays, strategies, etc. Since most of the time the QB calls the plays, sometimes the coach wants to make him do a certain play for a certain part of the game.

Yeah tbh i love the super bowl commercials.. lol its probably the only reason i watch it..
i wish they would let you have timeouts in soccer..
it would make stuff alot easier..
but tbh i guess football teams need a timeout, because they have to rmember
shit loads of plays

The QB has a list of plays on his wrist that he reads sometimes, and they do sometimes have a radio that the coach can use to talk to them, but sometimes you really do need the entire team sat down and run through.

I love Ice Hockey/Hockey.

The game is just fully great.
It's a good combination of sports.

You can fight, and only get penalties.
You can check and hit people.
You score goals, on goalies. So makes it challenging.
Seppd is involved and unlike Soccer, you have to know how to skate on ice, with about 20 pounds of protective gear and a stick.

Very challenging and fun game.
