    So, what does a

    13 yr old
    155lb (70kg)
    5'4 - 5'6 (height)
    Broad Shouldered
    Italian guy

    do to get ripped,

    Btw, What should be my goal Weight/Reps with 1 hand to be honest right now im using 15lbs with 10-20 reps at a time
    Currently Lifting 20lb With each hand (9-10KG)

    AND is what im doing considered bad or good for my age in 8th grade

    Low weight + High reps = tone and definition.
    High weight + Low reps = muscle mass.

    If you have more body fat on you, then i would suggest low weights and more reps. You would get 'ripped' and more definted.

    If you have less body fat, i'd suggest adding muscle mass. High weight and low reps.

    Also, try some protein powder.

    They sell protein powder at most gyms, or you could always buy some from the internet. Amazon is where I get mine.

    There's different flavors to choose from, too. Cookies N' Cream is my preference.

    God, everyone has such a wrong approach.

    Okay listen. Your main objective to getting rip is taking off as much fat as possible. How will you do that? Run a few miles! Just run run run! I suggest starting at about 1-2 miles a day, then move up to 3-5 miles a day. This will keep your body fat low. Also as you are improving your running, do all different types of crunches, sit ups, leg lifts, etc.. by researching. Do not stick to one method, in order to get rip, you need to work ALL your muscles. Even push ups, pull ups, planks, etc.. will help your upper body. Like I said before, you need to work everything to get rip, not only your abs - that is where everyone gets it wrong. Also WHAT YOU EAT affects this tremendously. You CAN NOT eat tons of junk such as pizza, cheese, ice cream, cut down on bread and milk too. Research what is good to eat.

    And.. personally I rather be ripped then bigger like a football player. Well if your for the ladies. Most ladies love sexy guys with abs way over the big, "bad" football players (unless you want a big girl).

    Completely wrong.

    The best way to achieve strong looking abs other than achieving a low body fat level is to do core strengthening exercises like Deadlifts and Squats as well as a strong routine for abs 2-3x a week.

    Hanging abdominal leg raises are my favorite exercises to completely destroy my abs.

    Lol so your saying someone overweight can get a 6-pack from doing Deadlifts and Squats? Haha.

    We are talking 6-pack abs, not a 6-pack beer belly!

    But if you really want an athletic body, eat healthy and go to the gym to work out all your muscles, don't only do one exercise.

    Learn to read, I said other than achieving a low body fat level. I never once implied that if you did just squats and deadlifts you would gain a six pack just that core exercises will strengthen your abs as well.

    First you have to lose weight, then you have to get ripped. Get on a diet from a nutritionist, then once you're skinny or just normal weight, then start working out at a gym, eat healthy, and drink muscle milk from GNC before you work out (only drink it if you're going to work out, if you don't work out it can make you fat), then after you work out drink a protein shake or anything that has protein to rebuild your muscle. If you're going for a six pack, you should obviously do abs the most.

    Don't do steroids, you're way too young for it and it's bad for you to artificially gain muscle, no matter what age you are.

    If your trying to avoid fights, learn to fight to avoid fights cuz Im not ripped but I will defiantly rock the shit outta a ripped guy, same with football.

    Great response, I must be having a bad day because I stated you cant read yes that would be completely correct. Just because you are a moron does not mean I am unhappy. It is common knowledge that front and back squats as well as deadlifts are some of the most effective ways to train abs.
