Sex is never "safe." especially if you accidentally get aids without knowing it? That sucks.

Condoms are in fact 99.9% safe. Read the box.

One way the condom companies get that "99%" number is by filling condoms up with water and testing for leaks in a laboratory setting. These experiments are charming, but their results have never been reproduced in the real world. In fact, even Planned Parenthood admits that 15 percent of women experience pregnancy during their first year of condom use.

The people who make money off of condom sales argue that this high number should simply be blamed on incorrect condom use. But, considering that health experts recommend up to 24 steps for proper condom use, it's pretty misleading and irresponsible to tell anyone that the condom will prevent pregnancies 99% of the time. Interestingly, since the mid-eighties, those who are sexually active are getting pregnant more often, despite an increase in condom use!

I'm fascinated that you know how to properly use google. Nonetheless, the numbers show condoms are 99.9% effective.

    I lol'ed at that.

But anywho! I never use a condom, I don't know if it's safe not too. But my girlfriend is on birth control which is like 99.9% safe or so?! So sex is pretty safe I must say.

Sex can be MOSTLY safe but not a full 100% safe. To go with your solution is this. A mans hands are his best tools :)

So you are blaming the manufacturer and the product for peoples incompetence?

Fine me a peer-reviewed SCIENTIFIC journal artical.

Christian sites have a bias to support their beliefs.

Atheist sites don't really exist as there isn't a set of beliefs Atheists go by aside from the non-existence of God, hardly relevant to the topic.

Find a group of scientists at a university who conducted an experiment and then submitted it to colleagues to see if they were fair and unbias.

    That's real evidance.

It also says with proper use 99%+

The person/place you heard that from is probably trying to scare you from having sex.

Sex isn't 100% safe, but nothing is, so take the best precautions (Pill + Condoms) and have fun.

Thats true about condoms, but you know they can slip off if your penis is a little thicker then what the condom can handle? Its happened to me, and the girl happened to be on that period of 2 weeks after she started birth control which makes her most susceptible toward pregnancy. I was fortunate enough not to get her pregnant. And if she had any STD's, I would have caught it from just that little slip off.

The answer is no, sex is not totally safe. Its better to stay away from it, that's why God gave us the option of jacking off.
