How to reduce the amount of scammers

Post count doesn't show trust, but it indicates that one is active and posts frequently. I agree that it shouldn't be used as a sign of trust, but most members think of it as a small standard which they can view to get some satisfaction.

 

Neither Post Count or Vouches should be used in deciding how trusted someone is.

 

You're absolutely right, but people still base trust upon those statistics which is difficult to stop people from having predetermined notions such as those.

 

This kind of idea has been suggested and denied several times.

 

This would also up the amount of spammers by ~99%.

 

Post count doesn't mean anything...
Unless they had a vouch system that kept track of EARNED vouches and not just those pin trade vouches, I don't see this going anywhere
