Best place to mine Gold?

If anyone has an answer for me i'd happily like to know as i'm planning on getting my smithing level alot higher.

Gold ring in the brimhaven

 

Thankyou Dziarski, would you also happen to know how many ores are there?
And as there are no banks around i'm assuming i use an amulet of glory to teleport to edge and back to Karamja?

there are 2 gold mines in brimhaven, one by the metal drag dungeon (6 rocks there i think) and one northwest of the docks. the one northwest has more rocks (9 rocks i think), including a gold ore spawn, but it's further away to bank. i would suggest having your house in brimhaven if you have the room where you have the unlimited glory tele, which is just north of the metal dragon dungeon. mine a full load, run to your house, tele to edge, bank and tele back to your house and go back and mine. using a familiar like a t bird is helpful

another pretty quik spot is the mine in keldgrim, however you spell it. you need a gold helmet and ring of charous. with the ring, you pay this dwarf 3 gold ores to bank your ores. remember you need an empty slot to take off the helm to leave the mine, so its like 24 ores per trip instead of 28, but the banking time is fast.
