How to listen to iPod's in class.

Hello, I will be showing you the basics of how to listen to iPod's in class.

    Item's needed:
    Jacket
    iPod
    Class

    1) Take a knife and your jacket, And in one of the pockets, cut a small hole (1 inch long is fine).
    2) Put the iPod in the pocket, Put the headphone wire through the hole, and run it completely up the jacket into your ear.
    3) Zip the jacket most of the way up.
    4) Put your hood on. If teachers don't allow hoods, Put it about halfway up to cover the headphones.
    5) Make sure the headphone color and your shirt/jacket color match. This way the teacher won't be able to tell.
    6) TURN DOWN THE VOLUME. Yes, We all like to blast music, but in class... EVERYBODY CAN HEAR IT. Keep it quiet.

    7) Enjoy some badass music in a very boring class.

Yeah, I made this guide kind of quick. The "Class" was meant to be classroom. Read my guide on PayPal. That one has pictures, and step by step.

How to listen to iPod's in class.

So be creative. At my school, we have a summer and a winter uniform. Winter = blazer so it's not hard to listen to your iPod.

Summer is short sleeves. So here's what you can do.

    1) Sit as close to the window as you can, or as far away from the teacher as you can.
    2) Lead your earphones from your pocket into your pants, up your shirt, through the back of the neck area, and onto your ear. This would be on the side furthest away from the teacher. As far as they can tell, there should be no white cable near you.
    3) Remember to keep the cable as close as possible to the back of the neck as possible. Long hair is good.

Skater, pictures are needed in the guide. :) If it's not detailed and colorful, people won't read it. Telling us to "read my Paypal guide because it's better" won't get more views.
If I created a website, but with crappy detail and then said "well go to my other one because it's better", wouldn't that be a waste of effort. Good job, but it needs pictures. I expected less of this guide, so kudos. 6/10

I guess it seems like an okay idea, But pictures make a guide much more interesting and less confusing. 4/10 ;)

In some schools, uniform is mandatory, as it is in mine, and you have to wear a blazer.

It's best to wire the headphones through your sleeve so the headphone comes out the end of your sleeve, so the headphone is in your palm, but the iPod and other wires are inside of your shirt, not visible.

Then, you simply put your head against your hand like you would on any day, and have the headphone in your ear. It's what I do sometimes, and it's really good.

How to listen to iPod's in class.

    1. Most schools won't allow jackets on in school.
    2. Most people aren't willing, such as me, to cut a one-inch hole in their jacket.
    3. What's the point in listening to music in class? It really doesn't matter if it's boring or not... You might as well just skip it if you aren't willing to learn anything.

How to listen to iPod's in class.

A better way than threading the wire up your sleeve is to
run it inside your shirt. Keep the iPod in your pocket and put the earbuds up towards the collar of the shirt. Unless you wear a polo to school, this won't help you. Put your hand to your ear andlean over on the desk, so itlooks likeyou are resting on your hand. Your arm should form an angle slightly less than 90degrees. With your writing hand, continue to write notes/do whatever, but keep the earbud secure in your ear with your opposite hand. "Sleeving" is only good for the winter when you have to wear long-sleeves. My method works year-round.

Perhaps you should pay attention in class, rather than listen to your iPod.

On topic: This guide is extremely dull, vague, and uneventful. There are better guides in the replies. I'd suggest adding pictures and possibly colors.

I understand this guide now that I think about what he is trying to say.
Also, I've seen somebody put the headphones to the iPod through the little pully string things (forgot what you call them) that tightens the hood and he just puts it against his head and acts like he just accidentally grabbed the string while placing his fist on his head and just leaning on his desk if you know what I mean.

How to listen to iPod's in class.

The hole doesn't exactly make a difference. Instead if it being an inch big, you could to it with a screwdriver, so it's screwdriver size, then unplug your headphones, put your iPod in your pocket, put the input bit of the headphones through the hole and plug them in.

Alternatively, put your iPod in your normal, pants pocket, have the wire run up your back, and around your ear (running over the top, like those wire thingies the CIA people have in movies),keep your collar up, and at least have a bit of hair over your ears. Obviously it's not going to work if your hair isn't semi-long, but after that, neither is anything.

Your school obviously doesn't care about your learning.

Cutting up your jacket is not advised.

Just put it up underneath your t-shirt, and you your neck hole, but too the side.

    Or do what Finn said.

    Ugly guide, boring.

PS: TBH, alot of the teachers let us listen to music in 'tech' classes, or when we're just writing, ect.

How to listen to iPod's in class.

    finniscool's method makes more sense...
lol this girl in my class has a head band, and she attatched the headphone wire to the underside, and the wire is black, as is her hair, and her hair covers her ears so the teacher can't see her headphones or the wire. when she showed me i laughed so hard.
like, the wire goes up her back of the neck, and she has long hair.
