Streaming audio (shoutcast, etc.)?

    I've looked up a few things on google and I couldn't really use any libraries or tutorials on how to do this. Never done anything with audio wanted to try it out.

    Help?

    Use the addon from shoutcast.com its easy just portforward and your ready to go :)

    A quick google search reveals that there are some ways of doing it, however no direct API's for consuming Shoutcast or any standardized Stream system out right now are available... One link I was referred to many times was http://www.un4seen.com/ which their BASS.NET API is able to Stream and Consume Various music formats(MP3, ect.) however I'm not sure of the licensing.

    Are you trying to play audio from a shoutcast stream or stream it as a shoutcast server?

    You could check this Visual Basic project out if you're looking for ideas, you can examine that code and port it over to C#.

    I was trying to play it.

    I can't figure that bass.net stuff out so I just ditched it.

    aha ok.. I have no idea.. I will take a closer look and research more when I got time, I have to study spanish now, test tomorrow o_O
