Oxygen - Will It Run Out?

No, technology will fix everything.

So if we split it up we'll be swimming in diamonds & breathing pure oxygen. Sounds awesome to me

 

Doubt it, with all the plants and trees and most greens we'll be fine, at least in our lifetime anyway, and as posted earlier, technology will probably find a way to produce oxygen from other atoms.

 

we would probably all die before that happened im sure the high power had thought of this

 

i disagree there is nothing wrong with the planet the planet faced 4.5 billions years of all kinds of disasters happening to it this should be a problem the planet is self cleansing, the planet will be fine the humans are fucked

Plankton make most of the world's oxygen, which is seldom used in large amounts. Until we start digging for gold and drilling in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, we're fine.

 

I never really thought about it, but I know it wont run out in my generation and I have bigger things to worry about than people 252057 years from now.

 

All plants produce oxygen, So no.
Unless however, All plant life dies.

This does not include Fungi.

 

We won't run out of oxigen never, believe me, if population is bigger and there is less trees etc. people will just make machines that provide air. So yeah, we won't.

nah, it won't happen. trust me. theres too many plants, greens, plankton etc. and even if it does, it wont be until a LOOONG time form now.

 

Theres a possibility that oxygen will run out but that possibility is quite small, in our population growing, more heat and cabron dioxide are released, there are only a small part of us who actually cares about the environment, lots are careless about whats happening.

 

Hold on, don't we have some sort of new element that cleans oxygen and removes carbon dioxide?

 

Each year, with the seasons, our world "takes a breath". In the winter, carbon dioxide takes the place of much of the oxygen; in the spring and summer, oxygen fills the atmosphere. I doubt we will run out of oxygen any time soon, even when the population increases 10 fold.

 

Plants and trees nedd Carbon dioxide to live and release oxygen. We need oxygen to live and we release Carbon dioxide which the plants needs. There is nothing useless in this world, just not used properly.

 

Seriously, now when I think about it. It is logical.

 

first off oxygen does not just come from trees as many may think that is our only source. A majority of the oxygen comes from the ocean and cyanobacteria that produce oxygen as a byproduct. In order for us to truly run out of it we would have to find a way to completly destroy and pollute all our oceans. that will not happen in the near future so u do not have to worry
