LCD monitior on but black screened

no clue what happened.... i wake up this morning try to get on my comp and my monitior wont come back. its on [has the green light on] but wont show anything. its not the backlight what can it be?

 

I don't know if it's the same problem that I got but it seems like it.
I could open it but it stayed black and it was due to a special lightbulb in it being dead. Had to buy another one for like 20 bucks.

Don't know if it's this but I suggest that you ask someone that works in a computer store.

 

does your graphics card have to slots, if so, try using the other slot cause your settings might have change for some reason.

 

Has anything happened to the computer recently that might of caused an error? Like, a virus which could effect the Video Card?
