Why doesn't he give me a book?

Okay, I have a holy book (saradomin) and because it's called: 'holy book' and i can preach from it, that means it has all 4 pages inside it, right? Well, if that is right, i'd like to know, because i'm really confused, the reason why Josik (the guy in the lighthouse who hands out the books) won't give me the next book. I bring the saradomin book and 5k along with me but he still always says he hasn't found any new books.

Would really like help with this because i need a zamarok book.

That's because you need to FILL up the book you already have FIRSTLY, so you'll have to buy the 4 pages and put them in before you can get another one lol, sucks I know :S.

 

Keep trying to talk to him, if it doesnt work then you trade him or talk to his sister.

 

If you can preach from it it should be full. Try the different options on Jossik.

 

Maybe its a glitch, report it to jagex

 

I have tried all the different options on Josik, the book is filled, i already told you i could preach from it.

Edit: Well i went back to him, talked for like 10 minutes and couldn't get the book.

Went to his sister aswell and she says nothing about them =/

It's most likely a glitch I believe, sorry I misinterpreted your question xD, just report it as a bug to jagex, sorry, I can't really help you anymore here as I've never experienced this before.

 

What you could always try is using the book on him. Otherwise, are you sure you filled all the books you have? (eg. If you had Zamorak unholy book before, you must've of filled that too.)

 

drop the book then speak to him.and then re pick it afterwards.

After you drop it, Jossik will still 'count' it as in your inventory. As soon as you lose it, you can get the book back from Jossik.
And uhm.. I might be crazy, but zybez says you need 5k with you.. you don't have 5k with you.

 

I know, i didn't take the 5k that time because i took it the last time and i wasn't expecting him to say he has a new book so didn't take it , but i will report this to Jagex, it's pissing me off (N)
